Jay Goldberg is the CEO and founder of D2D Advisory, a strategic advisory firm operating at the intersection of Technology and Finance. D2D provides strategic advisory, capital raising, financial planning and M&A planning for companies across all stages of their development.
Mr. Goldberg also serves as Chief Financial Officer and a Member of the Board of Directors of Nodle, a decentralized wireless network for the Internet of Things.
Prior to D2D, Mr. Goldberg was Senior Director of Strategy of Qualcomm’s Data Center Group and Senior Director of Corporate Development and Investor Relations at Peregrine Semiconductor. In these roles he provided strategic guidance for those companies as they entered new products and markets, and led partnering, ecosystem building and fundraising activities. At Peregrine Mr. Goldberg managed the sale process of that company. Joining when the company’s share price was $3 per share, he helped craft the communications and development plan that ultimately resulted in the sale of the company to Murata Manufacturing for $12.50 per share.
Prior to Peregrine, Mr. Goldberg was Vice President and Senior Research Analyst – Mobile and Data Networking at Deutsche Bank. At Deutsche Mr. Goldberg built a wide-reaching network among public and private company executive teams. He has participated in over 20 IPOs, ultimately writing a book on the subject. Over his career Mr. Goldberg has helped companies raise over $1 billion in capital.
Previously, Mr. Goldberg was an associate in the Generalist M&A Group at Lazard Freres. He also lived and worked in China for over ten years and has deep ties to the Electronics Industry in Asia.
Mr. Goldberg has a CFA, an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from University of California, Berkeley.
